Terms of Service

Last Updated: September 27, 2026 • Effective Date: September 27, 2026

Welcome to SlidePilot (“SlidePilot,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a software-as-a-service application operated by SlidePilot Inc. and Revolt AI. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “Customer,” “you,” or “your”) and SlidePilot governing your access to and use of the website at slidepilot.dev, related subdomains, web applications, APIs, content generation tools, visual editors, and associated services (collectively, the “Service”).

BY ACCESSING, REGISTERING FOR, OR USING THE SERVICE (INCLUDING SIGNING IN VIA GOOGLE OAUTH OR SUBSCRIBING TO A PAID PLAN), YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY CEASE USING THE SERVICE.

1. Eligibility & Authority

You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account or use the Service. By using SlidePilot, you represent and warrant that you have full power, capacity, and legal authority to enter into these Terms on your own behalf or on behalf of the company or legal entity you represent. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Description of the Service

SlidePilot provides an AI-powered content creation and marketing tool for app founders and marketing teams. The Service enables users to:

  • Analyze a public website URL or a written description of an app to extract its positioning, target audience, and brand voice.
  • Build slideshow templates in a visual editor, controlling slides, layout, text, typography, images, overlays, and aspect ratio, and generate posts from them, including AI-written copy, hooks, and calls to action.
  • Build an image library by uploading images or importing images from Pinterest boards and Pinterest search.
  • Set up automations that generate new posts from a template on a recurring schedule, and record a planned posting time for individual posts.
  • Edit generated posts and download them as full-resolution images, individually or packaged into ZIP archives, for social publishing.

We reserve the right to modify, update, enhance, deprecate, or discontinue any feature or component of the Service at any time with or without notice.

3. User Accounts, Authentication & Workspaces

3.1 Account Creation

To access most features of the Service, you must authenticate using your Google account via Google OAuth 2.0. We store your basic profile information (such as your name, email address, profile picture, and Google authentication identifier) as described in our Privacy Policy.

3.2 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account and credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at revoltai26@gmail.com if you discover or suspect any unauthorized access to or compromise of your account. SlidePilot will not be liable for any losses or damages caused by unauthorized use of your credentials.

3.3 Multi-Tenant Workspaces

SlidePilot allows users to create and manage distinct app workspaces. The user who creates a workspace is its Owner. As an Owner, you are fully responsible for all activity conducted within your workspace, including any team members invited to collaborate, content created, and resources consumed.

4. Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellations

4.1 Merchant of Record & Payment Processing

All billing, checkout transactions, invoices, taxes, and subscription management are processed by our Merchant of Record and payment partner, Polar(Polar Software Inc.). When subscribing to a paid plan, you enter into a transaction with Polar and are subject to Polar’s applicable terms of service and billing policies. SlidePilot does not directly store, process, or transmit your credit card numbers, bank account numbers, or CVV codes.

4.2 Subscription Plans

SlidePilot offers Pro subscription tiers, available on:

  • Monthly Plan: Billed at $29 per month.
  • Yearly Plan: Billed at $199 per year ($16.58 per month equivalent).

Plan pricing is denominated in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified during checkout. Prices do not include applicable local, state, or federal sales, VAT, or excise taxes, which will be calculated and collected at checkout by Polar based on your billing location.

4.3 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the conclusion of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless you cancel your subscription prior to the renewal date. You authorize Polar to charge the payment method on file the applicable recurring fee upon each renewal.

4.4 Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time by navigating to your account billing settings in the SlidePilot dashboard and opening the Polar billing portal. Upon cancellation, your subscription will not renew, and you will retain access to Pro features until the expiration of your current paid billing period.

4.5 Refund Policy

Due to the immediate provisioning of digital computing resources, third-party artificial intelligence inference tokens, and cloud asset storage upon signup, all purchases and subscription renewals are non-refundable, except where required by mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. If you believe an erroneous charge was processed, contact us at revoltai26@gmail.com within seven (7) days of the transaction.

5. Customer Content & Intellectual Property

5.1 Ownership of Customer Content

You retain all right, title, and interest (including all intellectual property and proprietary rights) in and to any materials, text, brand descriptions, website URLs, trademarks, logos, photographs, graphics, or assets that you upload, submit, or make available to the Service (“Customer Content”).

5.2 License to SlidePilot

You grant SlidePilot and its service providers a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to host, copy, process, transmit, store, resize, format, and display your Customer Content solely as necessary to operate, maintain, deliver, and improve the Service for you.

5.3 Customer Representations

You represent and warrant that: (i) you own or have obtained all necessary licenses, consents, permissions, and rights to submit your Customer Content to the Service; (ii) you have authorization to submit and analyze any website URLs you input; (iii) your Customer Content does not violate any third-party copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or contract rights; and (iv) you have the rights needed to use any images you import from third-party sources such as Pinterest in the posts you create and publish. Images imported from third-party sources remain the property of their respective owners.

6. AI Generation & Generated Output

6.1 Ownership of Generated Output

As between you and SlidePilot, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, you own the slide copy, outlines, hooks, and formatted slideshows generated for your account through the Service (“Output”).

6.2 Nature of Artificial Intelligence

The Service utilizes third-party artificial intelligence and machine learning models (including OpenAI models routed through OpenRouter). You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI outputs are probabilistic and generated algorithmically; they may occasionally contain factual errors, inaccuracies, hallucinations, or inappropriate content.
  • Similar or identical outputs may be generated for different users who supply similar inputs or targeting parameters.
  • SlidePilot does not represent or warrant that Output is novel, non-infringing, unique, or protectable under copyright or trademark laws in any jurisdiction.

6.3 User Responsibility for Publishing & Truth in Advertising

You are solely responsible for reviewing, auditing, and validating all Output before publishing or distributing it on TikTok or any other platform. You agree to ensure that your published content complies with all applicable truth-in-advertising standards (including Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines, disclosure requirements for testimonials/endorsements, and consumer protection laws) and does not make unsubstantiated claims regarding your product.

6.4 No Public Model Training

We do not sell your proprietary workspace data or Customer Content to third parties, nor do we use your private workspace content to train generalized public foundational AI models without your express authorization.

7. SlidePilot Proprietary Rights

The SlidePilot platform, user interfaces, slide rendering engines, templates, algorithms, software, code, graphics, documentation, and the SlidePilot name, logo, and brand identity are the exclusive property of SlidePilot Inc. and its licensors. Except for the limited rights granted herein, nothing in these Terms conveys any ownership or intellectual property rights to you. You agree not to copy, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, create derivative works of, scrape, or exploit any portion of the Service without our prior written consent.

8. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate, publish, or distribute content that is illegal, defamatory, fraudulent, deceptive, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, abusive, or harmful to minors.
  • Infringe upon any third party’s copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, or other proprietary rights.
  • Generate deceptive or manipulative financial, health, or medical claims.
  • Submit URLs or scrape content from third-party websites without proper authority or in violation of applicable laws.
  • Distribute malware, viruses, trojans, worms, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or limit the functioning of computer software or hardware.
  • Circumvent, disable, or tamper with security mechanisms, usage quotas, rate limits, or access controls (including our 10 MB asset limit or upload rate limits).
  • Automate access to the Service via unauthorized bots, scrapers, or scripts.
  • Resell, sublicense, lease, or commercially redistribute access to the SlidePilot platform without written authorization.

9. Third-Party Platforms & TikTok Disclaimer

SlidePilot is an independent software tool and is NOT affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with TikTok, ByteDance Ltd., Pinterest, Inc., Google, OpenAI, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates.

The names “TikTok,” “Pinterest,” “Google,” and other third-party trademarks are registered trademarks of their respective holders. The use of these trademarks is solely for nominative identification and compatibility purposes. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any slideshows, videos, or marketing materials you export from SlidePilot and post to TikTok or other platforms comply with those platforms’ Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and advertising policies.

10. Storage, Exports & Data Retention

Posts made from templates are rendered on our servers and stored as images; downloads are packaged into ZIP archives in your browser. While SlidePilot maintains your workspace templates, posts, designs, and imported media assets on cloud infrastructure (including Cloudflare R2 and Convex), SlidePilot is not an archival storage service. You are solely responsible for backing up and saving your exported slideshows and creative assets. We reserve the right to establish retention limits, purge soft-discarded drafts, or delete inactive workspace data upon reasonable notice.

11. DMCA & Copyright Infringement Policy

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) (“DMCA”), we will respond promptly to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement.

If you believe your copyrighted work has been uploaded, displayed, or used on SlidePilot in a manner that constitutes infringement, please send a written notification to our Designated Copyright Agent at:

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ALL SOFTWARE, TEMPLATES, AI-GENERATED OUTPUT, CONTENT, AND EXPORTS, IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE.

SLIDEPILOT EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT: (A) THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS; (B) THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE; (C) THE OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, OR FREE OF ERRORS; OR (D) YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE WILL RESULT IN ANY SPECIFIC MARKETING METRICS, AUDIENCE GROWTH, TIKTOK VIEWS, VIRALITY, LEADS, OR REVENUE.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SLIDEPILOT INC., REVOLT AI, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, SHAREHOLDERS, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, WORK STOPPAGE, COMPUTER FAILURE, OR REPUTATIONAL DAMAGE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO SLIDEPILOT IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR (B) ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS ($100.00 USD).

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SlidePilot Inc., Revolt AI, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, judgments, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your Customer Content or any content you publish or export from the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms or any applicable laws, rules, or regulations; (c) your violation of any third-party right (including copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights); or (d) any dispute between you and any third party or social media platform (including TikTok).

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Informal Resolution First: You agree that before filing any formal legal action, you will contact us at revoltai26@gmail.com and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days.

16. Termination & Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice or liability, if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive behavior, failed to pay applicable fees, or where required by law. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and discontinuing all use of the Service. Upon termination, all rights granted to you hereunder shall immediately cease, but provisions which by their nature should survive (including IP ownership, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability) shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms at any time. When we make material revisions, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document and may provide additional notice (such as via email or in-app announcement).
